Mizzie The Kangaroo was founded by Sandra Ebbott, a mum to two gorgeous kids (Isabella 10 & Hugo 6), whose names you may recognise in some of Mizzie's products! Although now an Australian, Sandra was born and raised in the French part of Canada. Before Mizzie, she worked in marketing roles all over the world with a few big brands (BMW, Pepsi, Reebok). When her daughter was born, she couldn’t find a good Aussie all-natural rubber teether nor an Aussie character that could support early learning through play. Soon after, Mizzie was born in 2016 (and by the way - she’s a girl), and the passion to keep designing and developing new products where Mizzie could help develop children through fun was ignited!

Home to Australia's Original Natural Teething Toy® and collection of educational toys for babies and toddlers, the Mizzie team prides itself on producing products that are natural, sustainable, eco-friendly and purpose-driven. Mizzie The Kangaroo Teething Toys are now also recyclable. In November 2022, Mizzie The Kangaroo entered into a World First Recycling Program with Pearl Global, further backing the commitment to sustainability and a circular economy.

Based in Brisbane, Queensland in Australia, although the Mizzie team is small, we have big goals. Our vision is to be known as THE Kangaroo toy/ character that develops children all over the world. Mizzie The Kangaroo’s core purpose is to develop young ones (0-4yo) through fun as it is well documented that this is how children learn best! We have always made it our mission to think of ways to make a positive impact on children’s development, our environment, our community and our children’s future. We provide the tools to guide parents and babies on a fun learning journey, helping them learn age-appropriate skills during their play time. Our brand and all of our products embody the quintessential essence of being Aussie: natural, fun, caring and safe.

Our products have continuously been recognised through industry and parent-led product awards. We are hugely proud of all those achievements as it shows how well loved our products are by babies and parents worldwide. Some of the most recent awards we have won include Gold for mini Mizzie and Bronze for our Original Mizzie The Kangaroo Teething Toys and Socially Responsible Award in the Clean & Conscious Awards. At the UK Independent Toy Awards we won Silver for our Original Mizzie The Kangaroo Teether & Bronze for Musical Hop Out Mizzie! We also took home Bronze in the Made For Mums UK Toy Awards for mini Mizzie as 'Best Teether Toy.' All of these awards are a true reflection of our brand ethos to provide natural, sustainable, eco-friendly and purpose-driven products that have a positive impact on child development.

We’d love for you to embrace Mizzie, understand what we’re about, and enjoy the products. As you now represent our brand, we’d love for you to chat about Mizzie (whenever appropriate) in your circles, in your play / mother’s groups, with your family and friends. Mizzie still isn’t that well known, but she sure is loved by the ones who do know her! We’d love for you to help spread the love!! Here is how we’d like to see it all happen:

Brand & Product Knowledge

Requirements

  • Please take pics AND videos of your child with Mizzie products, following the ‘photography & video reference' tips on the last page as much as you can.
  • When posting on your own platforms about Mizzie, please tag us @mizziethekangaroo #mizziethekangaroo.
  • Save the photos and videos you create in the dropbox file that will be created for you.
  • Please save, like, comment and share the posts and stories in our feed, as well as each other’s posts – this creates great engagement for all of us and a fabulous community feel! Posts will be shared in a community group, which we will create, for all ambassadors to engage with (save, like and comment).
  • Please speak positively about Mizzie and represent her in a positive light. If there are any issues, please talk to us.
  • Be happy to help us announce new product launches, special promotions, awards and new market launches.
  • Please pass on your unique Mizzie discount code to your friends and family for them to reap the benefits of knowing you, a Mizzie Brand Ambassador!

Specific Deliverables

  • Minimum of 3 posts on your own feed per month with our items tagged for the duration of the contract - Mizzie The Kangaroo products must be the hero in the image.
  • Minimum of 2 reels reels per month with our items tagged for the duration of the contract - Mizzie The Kangaroo products must be the hero of the reel.
  • Minimum of 3 stories per month with our items tagged for the duration of the contract - Mizzie The Kangaroo products must be the hero of the story.
  • Genuine support and engagement across our Instagram and Facebook channels.
  • 5 High Quality Images to be saved to your designated Dropbox folder each month. A mix of portrait and landscape images are required.
  • Minimum of 3 videos to be saved to your designated Dropbox folder each month. All videos should be recorded in portrait mode. Video footage is to be raw footage and without any filters.
  • *Optional* We would love to grow our TikTok following so if you have a TikTok account we would love for you to share a mix of video content to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. 

Term

  • 4 months from 19/08/24 to 31/12/24

Exclusive Rights

  • Mizzie The Kangaroo reserves the right to use any and all photographs/videos you send us of our products on all social media accounts, promotional material, our websites, and all advertisements.
  • For the term of this agreement, please do not engage directly with or promote any direct competitors of Mizzie The Kangaroo. If you are unsure, please check with us first.
  • In the event that the requirements & deliverables of this agreement are not met, it is Mizzie The Kangaroo's right to terminate the contract at any time.

In Return, you will receive:

  • Monthly product drop for you to use for photography purposes and then keep / re-gift.
  • Your own unique Mizzie The Kangaroo 15% discount code that can be shared with your fans, friends & family.
  • Genuine support & engagement from us on your own channels.
  • You will be officially recognised as a Mizzie Brand Ambassador.
  • We love engaging with our Mizzie Brand Ambassadors and creating a community so you can engage and interact with each other too. A community group will be created for all of the approved Brand Ambassadors. Please share and engage with all other Brand Ambassadors posts, stories and reels. We will also share Mizzie The Kangaroo content in this group for you to like, comment and save the posts, stories and reels to help boost engagement on the Mizzie The Kangaroo page.
